We had a very nice cruise. The rooms were fine, and the food we liked very much. Also the staff was very friendly and the excusions were very interesting. Personally I was quite impressed by the dam, even though it had some big effects on very many people. 
We liked to meet many chinese people (other people on holiday) at the cruise, whom we spoke to and got to know.
We were in general fascinated by China, and were impressed many times during our 3 week stay in the country. 
 So yes we were satisfied. Thank you for your help.

the trip on the Yangtze was very professional organized. Everything was in time, everybody (incl. the transfers from and to the airports) was extreme friendly and cooperative. Our cabin on the Yangtze Explore was very big and always well cleaned by the housekeeping.

Hello, We were delighted. It was a great experience all around. The boat was very comfortable, the food delicious (although I did get sick -- and I had been eating street food everywhere else :) ), the medical attention terrific, the river guide (Cathy) excellent, the tours fascinating, the nighttime shows very professional and interesting ... I should have pre-arranged a driver to take us to the airport when we left the cruise, but the people at the front desk kindly did that for me on the last day. Thank you again for you help.

Hi sorry it took so long but I thought I'd drop you a note to thank you for a great trip on the Yangtze Explorer. Our guide (Alan?) provided excellent service in meeting us at Chongqing railway station at a v. late hour due to our flight delay. We also had a very enjoyable city tour around Chongqing, which has turned out to be the nicest city in China that I've visited! And thank you for the hotpot restaurant recommendation- it was fantastic!!
One thing though- for some reason the Yangtze Explorer cruise company didn't notify Alan re. the embarkation point until very late in the day, and we ended up circling around the docks looking for the boat, then trekking all over these other fishing boats and cargo barges to reach the Yangtze Explorer, which was kind of weird but pretty funny, hee hee.
Thank you again- I've recommended the trip to all my family and friends... it was really great!

I had a wonderful time on the cruise, it was perfect. The staff were very friendly, competent and attentitive. The programme with various activities and attractions was well organised and executed. The facilities on the cruise ship fully met my expectations. The mix of Chinese and western tourists was ideal to bring both cultures closer together (I explicitly avoided another ship because I expected it to be full of Americans. I like Americans, but if I want to see them I go to the U.S.A. - not China). Overall, it's a cruise I can fully recommend to anybody visiting China (and I wouldn't be surprised if I did it again in a few years).

The transportation to and from the ship and accommodation was excellent, the service on-board was commendable and the tours to Ghost City, The Lesser Gorges and the Three Gorges Dam were professionally run with every attention to detail catered for. The food on board, entertainment and service received was of a very high consistent standard.

Just writing to let you know everything worked out well with this cruise.
The hostel looked after us and got us to the boat in plenty of time. The
cabin was very good and comfortable and there was only 32 people on the
ship and as a result we had very personal attention. The included land
tours were all very interesting also.
We had quite some trepidation booking this online from so far away but
this was without basis and we had a very enjoyable week on the Victoria
Prince, and felt it was extremely good value for money.

We completed the cruise on the Yangtze and are back in Shanghai. We will return to Panama on Saturday February 21, 2009. The guide who picked us up today, Frank Chang was the best we have had on all our trips. His English was excellent but he also gave us an insight in to Chingqing and China atlarge and was aware of what is going on in the rest of the World.
